Visitors who engage with our Social Media sites (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) are subject to the privacy
policy of that particular social media site.
If you chose to contact us by email, we may retain your personal details in order to contact you and/or respond

Use of Photographs and Images:
We strive to obtain the consent of all persons who appear in photos on our website and/or social media sites.
This includes Sisters of the community. We use our own images as much as possible, and where we have used
an image that is not ours we strive to obtain permission from the owner and to give reference to the source.
Where it has not been possible to contact the owner of an image, we are happy to remove or add a credit to the
image. Please contact us about any concerns.
If you attend an event at which we are taking photographs we will ask for your consent to take and use your
photograph. We may display these photographs in our monastery, Church, and/or use them in Carmelite
literature or on our website. If you give us consent to put the photograph up on our social media page (eg.
Facebook, Twitter) the photograph will also be subject to the privacy policy of the social media site. You can
withdraw your consent at any stage, and we will remove the photograph from the social media page and/or
website according to your preferences.
Certain photographs will be retained in the monastery’s archives for enduring historical and archival purposes
to preserve a contemporaneous record of the richness and vibrancy of community life. These photographs are
retained for archival purposes in the public interest (Article 89 GDPR).
